I captured this picture when we attend the "Turn over Ceremony of Baseball Field to Smokey Mountain" last Sept 11,2010.

This children who dance " Maglalatik " are belong to the baseball player of team Smokey mountain. The people are so very enjoy watching this children.

Im so very prode that im leave here at the Smokey mountain.
And im also very proud that theirs a talented people that living in our community.

Field of Dreams

Do you know that here at the Smokey Mountain have a baseball field. By the help of Bro. Nonoy of Gawad Kalinga the team of JCI Manila was inspired to organized and beutified this field.

And they called this field as "Field of Dreams" were every thing may possible happen. Mr. Steve Allen Tycangco is the chairman of the baseball field project. This project was one of the umbrella project of JCI Manila.

They also have a turn over ceremony of this baseball field at the Smokey Mountain. Kuya Toby Claudio share his very inspirational baseball experience at UP baseball team.The executive director of Gawad Kalinga Mr. Jose Luis Oquinena was so very thankful for the partnership of JCI.

Mr. Llave is the coach of this team. He was so very proud to all of his player. he will never stop giving his heart to all his player. He will train them as long as the player give their best.

I know that all the people behind this program are so very inspired to the baseball player of our community, the Smokey Mountain. Hope that all of them will achieve their goals in life and i wish that this team will fight not only division or district level...But i know someday this team will fight at International game.

Thank you JCI Manila for the another opportunity that you give in our community.

ITS HARD TO LEAVE.

Friends are integral part of our life, but every friends I must have live life at their own place. When the time comes and I must leave them. there is no need to grieve over their parting from my life. It is the very essence of life that it should be so. But it hurts nonetheless and I grieve nonetheless, but I hold them in my heart forever. I will always cherish the joy, laughter,memories and love that they brought in my life. And i will always remember them with a warm smile for what they given to me.

Its hard for me to say goodbye.
How it so very sad for me.

True friends never leave each other, even if one of them is walking on the wrong path of life. A true friend will try to correct the other in a way that not hurt the ego of the other friend. Friends don't mind when mistakes are pointed out, rather they try to accept it and change themeselves for better. True friends are those, who inspire other to become a better person in life.

Ayun oh... after ng Entrep Summit akalain mong kumain kaming mga Young Focus bloggers together with Kuya Ronnel and JCI Manila sa IBAYO dito sa Mall Of ASIA.
Super sarap ng food dito grabe, lots of kakanin like puto, kutsinta, gelatine, malagkit na kulay violet. And also they have a ginataang kamote super sarap din.

Pinaka-nagustuhan ko is yung Dinuguan partner with puto.
Grabe halos pumutok na yung butones ng pants ko sa sobrang dami ng kinain ko.

Nabusog talaga kaming lahat ng bonggang bongga, as in major major nabusog kami.

3rd Entrep Summit

Wow, its was a great day for us because Kuya Ibba invited us to the 3rd Entrep Summit that held at the Mall of ASIA Center Stage.

We meet some Big person in Business Industry like Cesar Flores, Lex Ledesma, Donald Lim, Paco Sandejas, Abe Olandres, Ibba Bernardo, etc.

It was a great pleasure to us to meet that kind of person.

I just want to thank JCI Manila for this big opportunity. In behalf of the Young Focus students thank you very much for choosing Smokey Mountain as your beneficiaries of your project and for being part of the Buhay ko sa Smokey Mountain.

And also thank you to Ate Cathy and Kuya Jun for guiding and teaching us in proper way of capturing videos and the proper way of interviewing people.

THE DREAMERS

These are the children from the dumpsite. We, the Young Focus students together with Sir.Bobot, Kuya VJ, and Sir Bobot's student have a photo shoot from the dumpsite. Before we go to the dumpsite the rain was fall but these rain will never stop us to go to the dupsite for our mission to capture photos.

I was thinking what would they be in the future, how do they achieve their goals in life? Do you think they can reach their dreams? How we can help them ?

Every one of them have their own dreams and goals in life. Even at their young age try to ask them what they want to be in the future? And they will answer you, " I want to be a teacher, a doctor, a police, a president of the philippines. "

Lets help them to reach their goals. Give them a bright future.

Let us give them HOPE and LIGHT in their life. Evev though they are living in a dumpsite.

When I was walked along the street near at my School.

I saw a street child who was reading a book.

I talked to him and ask.

What do you want in the future?

The boy reply to me and said

- when i was a child i ask my mother..

what would i be?

will I be a doctor, or a Teacher

will I be A lawyer or a Soldier?
My mother said to me..

" que sera sera

what ever will be, will be

the future is not our to see

que sera sera"

I was so amaze to that child because

he is not lose his HOPE

And he want to achieve his goal.

Super close talaga tayo bilang magkaibigan.
Sa oras ng iyong pangangailanagan ako agad ang iyong nilalapitan.
Kapag may bagay ka nais mahiram ako'y di magdadalawang isip na ikaw ay paunlakan.
Alam mo kung bakit?
Dahil kaibigan kita at may tiwala ako sa iyo.

Pride mo ba ang dapat masunod?

Panghihinayang sa Nasayang na Pagkakaibigan.

Tanong ko sayo kayo mo bang ibalik ang kahapon?

Ang panahon na kung saan puno ng saya at ligaya.

Hindi katulad ngayon puno ng lungkot at pagdurusa.

Panghihinayang sa mga araw na tayo ay magkakasama.

Sa tawanan,biruan,iyakan..pati sa kantahan,sayawan

Sa bawat session na ating pinupuntahan

At pati na rin sa pagkain sa lugawan.

Sa pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan hindi mawawala ang ang basaan at habulan

Kung naligo ang isa sa ulan kailangan kasama lahat ng mga kaibigan.

Sana ay iyong matandaan ang ating halakhakan

Sa tuwing tayo ay nagbibiruan at nagtatawanan.

Pero talagang nakapanghihinayang ang mga masasayang araw

kapiling ang iyong mga kaibigan.

Kung ang mga ito ay iyong pinabayaan at hindi na muling pinahalagahan.

BAKIT GANUN?

1st month ko sa college life super tahimik ko talaga

.Some of my classmate ask me why im so very quite?

Then sabi ko sa kanila ganito lang talaga ako every 1st month ng pasukan.

Ako kasi yung tipo ng tao na hindi agad sumasama kung kanino dahil i want to know muna yung ugali ng bawat taong nakapaligid sa akin yun bang makikiramdam muna ako.

One time nakaupo ako sa chair beside the door ng may lumapit sa akin na mga classmate ko na halos babae sila.Then they told me na "masyado ka namang loner, always kang tahimik at nag-iisa kung gusto mo sumama ka na lang sa amin para naman hindi ka na nag-iisa.

Masaya ako dahil sila yung unang taong lumapit sa akin at tinuring na kaibigan.

At akalain mo sila pa yung naging groupmate ko sa klase namin sila talaga yung pumili sa akin para maging kagrupo nila.

But on the otehr side of our classroom may isang grupo din na kung saan ay mahilig silang magbiruan,tawanan, at harutan.

Then i ask my self.."kailan ko kaya mailalabas yun kulit ko?"

Hanggang sa unti unti ay sumama ako dun sa kanilang grupo.

Hindi ko man lang naisip kung bakit ako ganun..hindi ko man lang naisip na napalayo na pala ako dun sa mga taong unang nakisama sa akin.Naiinis ako sa sarili ko dahil sila na nga yung humingi ng favor to join with them, pero anong ginawa ko lumipat ako sa ibang grupo with out acommitment sa kanila.

"Haizt......bigla akong natahimik kanina sa nangyari pero hindi ako na offend dahil may point naman sya sa sinabi nya sa akin. Pero in my side gusto ko lang ipakita yung tunay na ako na makulit.

Nakasanayan nyo na kasi ako na palaging tahimik. Kaya parang gusto ko na maging ganun nalang na tahimik,

Pero di ba mas magandang makilala nyo ako sa tunay kong ugali at kung sino talaga ako."

BAKIT GANUN?

" For that thing SORRY SA INYO KUNG NASAKTAN KO KAYO SA FRIENDSHIP NATIN SORRY DIN SA NAGAWA KONG MALI."

FEELING ng Pagiging Student of the Month.

Student of the Month...hmp...lahat naman tayong mga studyante ng Young Focus ay deserving maging isa sa chosen child. Hindi naman sa talino kinukuha ang pagiging isang "SOM".Ang basehan dito ay kung anung mga bagay o ugali ang nagkaroon ng improvement sayo. Gaya ko unexpected na mapapabilang ako sa "SOM BATCH_01". Naging "SOM" ako sa buwan ng November 2009.nagulat na lang ako sa mga pangyayari because Kuya Manuel gave me a Certification of being Sudent of the Month of November plus a National Book Store gift certificate worth P500.Then Kuya told that all "SOM" that we have a EXPOSURE TRIP AT BORACAY for 3 days sponsored by WE INTERNATIONAL PHILIPPINES. Iyon yung isa sa most memorable experience ko sa buhay. Proud ako dahil kahit nakatira ako sa Smokey Mountain eh di mo aakalaing nakarating na ako sa Boracay. Pero hindi lang dyan ang gusto kong mapuntahan someday makakarating din ako sa ibang bansa at ipagmamalaki ko sa kanila na laking Smokey Mountain ako.

" Hindi lahat ng may kaya ay maaabot na nila ang kanilang gusto.Kung sino pa ang mahirap ay siya pa ang mas madaling nakaabot sa mithing pangarap ."
